Directions
Please note: All visitors must register at the security building before visiting Plextronics. Identification is required.
From Downtown Pittsburgh
From Oakland section of Pittsburgh
From Pittsburgh International Airport
From Wexford and West
From Harrisburg, Monroeville and East
From Downtown Pittsburgh
- Take Route 28 North approximately 12 miles to Harmarville, Exit 11.
- The bottom of the exit ramp comes to a "Y". Stay to the left of the "Y". Come to a stop at the bottom of the exit ramp. Do not turn left at the light, but go straight across Route 910 onto Gulf Lab Road.
- Follow Gulf Lab Road for approximately one half mile.
- The UPARC research complex is on the left.
- Park in the lot near Gate D. Sign in at the security building (the small one story brick building outside Gate D). Personnel will direct you to Plextronics.

From Oakland section of Pittsburgh
- Take Fifth Avenue to Washington Blvd. Stay in the right lane.
- At the end of Washington Blvd., turn left onto Allegheny River Blvd.
- Bear right onto Highland Park Bridge.
- Bear right to Route 28 North.
- Continue north on Route 28 for approximately 6 miles to Harmarville, Exit 11.
- The bottom of the exit ramp comes to a "Y". Stay to the left of the "Y". Come to a stop at the bottom of the exit ramp. Do not turn left at the light, but go straight across Route 910 onto Gulf Lab Road.
- Follow Gulf Lab Road for approximately one half mile.
- The UPARC research complex is on the left.
- Park in the lot near Gate D. Sign in at the security building (the small one story brick building outside Gate D). Personnel will direct you to Plextronics.

From Pittsburgh International Airport
- Take Route 60/376 toward Pittsburgh. Follow Route 376 (Pittsburgh) approximately 8 miles and through the Fort Pitt Tunnel staying the left lane.
- As you exit the tunnels, stay in the left lane and follow the signs for Route 279 North.
- Take Exit 7C to Route 28 North.
- Exit Route 28 at Harmarville Exit 11
- The bottom of the exit ramp comes to a "Y". Stay to the left of the "Y". Come to a stop at the bottom of the exit ramp. Do not turn left at the light, but go straight across Route 910 onto Gulf Lab Road.
- Follow Gulf Lab Road for approximately one half mile.

- Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East, toward Harrisburg.
- Exit at Allegheny Valley, Exit 48 (Old Exit 5) .
- After you pass the toll booth, follow the signs to Pittsburgh on Freeport Road.
- Go approximately one half mile to Route 910.
- Turn right on Route 910.
- Take the second right onto Gulf Lab Road.
- Follow Gulf Lab Road for approximately one half mile.
- The UPARC research complex is on the left.
- Park in the lot near Gate D. Sign in at the security building (the small one story brick building outside Gate D). Personnel will direct you to Plextronics.

From Harrisburg, Monroeville and East

- Exit at Allegheny Valley, Exit 48 (Old Exit 5).
