Pittsburgh, PA, September 16, 2008 — Plextronics, Inc. announced today that it was chosen by AlwaysOn as one of the GoingGreen Top 100 Winners. Companies selected for this honor were identified for major developments in the creation of new business opportunities in green technology industries.

The AlwaysOn editorial team and other industry experts surveyed more than 500 venture investors, investment bankers and technology insiders to determine the GoingGreen winners. Those companies selected, including Plextronics, demonstrated leadership among their peers in the following areas: innovation, market opportunity, commercialization, media buzz and stakeholder value creation.

Plextronics and the other GoingGreen winners were honored at an awards dinner last night in Sausalito, CA. The program was part of the GoingGreen 2008 conference, a two-and-a-half-day executive event featuring CEO presentations and high-level debates on the most promising emerging green technologies and new entrepreneurial opportunities.

Andy Hannah, Plextronics' CEO, said, "We're thrilled with this national recognition of the work we've done in printed electronics, specifically the eco-friendly solar power and efficient lighting technology we have. It's a tribute to our entire team."

"The GoingGreen Top 100 winners have excelled in key strategic areas in the global clean energy technology markets," said Tony Perkins, founder and CEO of AlwaysOn. "We congratulate them for their success in introducing new tools, services and systems that are driving the next phase of greentech innovation and transforming the biggest industries on earth."
